Im Installing a new DRS4W .. Radar on top of my radar arch. Ive pulled the cable through and into the fuse block compartment.Ive hooked the red wire w fuse to the new switch in the switchboard I've connected the blue wire back to the ground. I've capped off the wrap ground for now until I install a through hull water ground. or research a better way ?I checked the plug that connects the radar for current and it lit up . I turned off the power and connected the plug to the radar and turned power back on from the switch to the radar . I didn't hear any on or running noises .I opened the app to see if it made any connection And it said no . Is there a waiting warm up period .Should I hear the unit running Where do I go from here Thanks Bob

Check your wiring by the book again. If you put the blue wire to ground that wouldn't be correct.

Good morning. Those in the know. I have a slightly damaged DRS4D antenna cover, and I'm wondering if it can be reinforced with polyester resin and veil, then painted. Does this damage the reception? Thank you very much.

Prefer we don't continue to hijack another users thread but as long as it has no metal content (RF transparent) and sealed well, it shouldn't be a problem.
