DRS4D-NXT power question

The manual says the power needs to be switched. Can I connect this to the existing electronics buss bar that’s switched through my breaker panel, or does it need to be on its own dedicated breaker?

I’m assuming that the radar is in standby mode when power is applied? Please confirm.
Does it begin to transmit when the Ethernet connection tells it to power up? I’m assuming it doesn’t xmit as soon as 12VDC is applied?

It will be controlled by a TZT3 12”.

The radar is rated to use 2.5-1.3 A (Stand-by: 1.0 - 0.5 A) (Ref. SP-1) so if your bus bar is rated for this power than should be fine. The radar remains on STBY until initiated by the plotter (e.g. "Tx" from the radar page on the TZ3).

Hope this helps, :sail
