DRS4D-NXT - help with software update from PC

Looking for some help with software update from PC, and Furuno support hasn’t been all that helpful.

I received an archive file from support, and the instructions they provided indicated executing setupRadome.bat or setupOpen.bat which do not exist in the archive. I was finally able to get support to tell me to execute the one .bat file that does exist in the archive called update.bat. When executed the display prints out as expected but the software update does not occur.

Looking inside the update.bat file it seems it is hard coded to run an update for a DRS2D-NXT, not the DRS4D-NXT. The entire command contained in the update.bat file is:

.\uploader\DRS2D-NXT\NewVersion\Main\nwuppg .\uploader\DRS2D-NXT\NewVersion\Main\Loader.bin .\uploader\DRS2D-NXT\NewVersion\Main\idcode_SSD.sys .\uploader\DRS2D-NXT\NewVersion\Main\All_SSD.bin .\uploader\DRS2D-NXT\NewVersion\Main\All_SSD.bin -R -B10000

Looking at the archive however, the same set of files referenced in the previous command exist for the DSRS4D and so it seems the following command might work:

.\uploader\DRS4D-NXT\NewVersion\Main\nwuppg .\uploader\DRS4D-NXT\NewVersion\Main\Loader.bin .\uploader\DRS4D-NXT\NewVersion\Main\idcode_SSD.sys .\uploader\DRS4D-NXT\NewVersion\Main\All_SSD.bin .\uploader\DRS4D-NXT\NewVersion\Main\All_SSD.bin -R -B10000

Before I brick my radar I’m wondering if anyone else has updated their DRS4D-NXT this way. I’ve explained this issue with the .bat file to support and without addressing the issue directly they told me I need to send my radar in for service. The radar works fine from TimeZero app so I’m inclined to believe it’s the update process that isn’t working rather than the radar itself.

Thanks for any insight.
