DRS x-class versus DRS NXT

I looked through the forums and couldn't get a good answer.
I am looking at a FR12 display and want a 4 foot array. Which is the best for the conditions I will be experiencing?

foggy conditions
sometimes nighttime
Northern BC/Alaska
Not interested in looking for birds

There isn’t a bad answer. A DRS25A-NXT has some advantages in target tracking that would make it a marginally better choice. You also get the other advantages of solid state such as low radiation and instant on.

If it's a smaller boat (or even larger) and only wanting for bad weather and fog navigation the DRS4D-NXT has everything one needs at a good value.

I would also add that being solid state, the technology has nowhere to go but forward through software enhancements.
