Is the dome base bolt pattern for the 1815 the same as the 1721?

Yes, it is a 160mm x 160mm

All Furuno domes are 160mm x 160mm
The open arrays are 200mm x 200mm but they did have an older pattern back in the 1980/70s. Anything in the last 25 years would typically fall under the measurements above.

Great. Thanks. I have a mount for my 1721 now that I would like to eventually use for a 1715 and a 1815.

As long as your mount has clearance for the larger dome (1" bigger or .5' more each side) then you should have no problems. The bolt pattern is the same.
