DFF3 and DFF3D operate at same time

Looking at adding a DFF3D to the boat. I have a DFF3 for deep water 50/200 hz transducer
2kw power connected via LAN to the TZT2BB
Looking at ss260 transducer for the DFF3D and connecting it and the second 50/200 cable to my TZT2BB. This would be used up to 1000 feet. The DFF3 would be used deeper than that.
So the question is will the I be able to select which 50/200 to use or will they be redundant.

The DFF3D Multi-beam sonar requires a special widebeam transducer designed for 165 khz. You can't use the SS260 with the DFF3D.

Yes, both units would work well together. The DFF3D Sonar gets about 1000ft and very side coverage as you said and your DFF3 Fishfinder would cover deeper and better target definition after you get on top of the targets.

The DFF3D is 165 khz and can be ran and viewed at the same time as your DFF3 fishfinder. If running 50/200 on the DFF3, the you could have all three freqs on display at the same time on the same MFD.

Looking on line I was refering to a 165t-50/200-ss260. it says the DFF3D is compatible. what i want to do is hook up the 50/200 transducer cable directly to the TZT2BB. The 3D 165t-50 cablego to the DFF3D and its input would travel via Lan cable where info would be available to the TZT2BB from the HUB101 via cable.

That combo transducer had a 10 pin connection on the 50/200 that will go directly to a TZT2 or TZT3 (using adaptor) sounder. The TZT3 units ship with a 10 pin to 12 pin adaptor that is used in these cases.
