DFF1-UHD connections to Maxsea Timezero.

I am looking at setting up a new system to integrate into my Timezero Pro V4 software. I was hoping you could tell me if I can use the new DI-FFAMP to boost the DFF1-UHD that I want to connect to Timezero.
The other question is can the DI-FFAMP be used with Timezero without the DFF1-UHD.

ScottyB,
Thanks for your question.
Sorry to say you are going to need TZT3 MFD somewhere in the system as it provides the Key Pulse for the DI-AMP.

Thanks for the reply Snips.
I currently have the FCV1150 with the R509 and it has served me very well.
Have you done any testing with the TZT3 and the DI-FFAMP?
Would be good to see some screenshots to compare it to my 1150 to know whether it would be a step up from the 1150.

Scotty B,
Yes I have been out testing the DI-AMP. But while we had a FCV-1150 onboard we were mainly comparing it against the UHD and FCV-1900. Chirp to Chirp comparisons using different transducers, one was a R509LH. Below is a screen shot (643ft) from that test when we were looking at the AF (Auto Fishing) mode of the DI-AMP. Since the transducer will be the same the big question is Chirp vs CW. We did a short test many years ago to see what that would look like using a UHD vs a BBDS1, however this test was using different transducers so there was two variables instead of one. Your best target separation will be using Chirp but using a Short 1 Pulse length on the FCV-1150 doesn't look to bad either.
