DFF1 UHD accufish and bottom discrimination

Hello, in the brochure of dff1UHD is stated that accufish and bottom discrimination are advanced. What does this mean? What difference do they have from bbds module?

They are advanced features and unique to Furuno. The compatible transducers for one or both of those features for the DFF1-UHD (CHIRP) will be diffrent than that of the BBDS1 (CW). You always want to check the compatibility listings posted, if those features are important. The feature(s) in how they present are basically the same. Take Accu-fish the ID fish size it will show a number near the fish when enable.
