Delete old and create new wifi network

When I bought my boat it had an existing wifi network set up in the chart plotter. Unfortunately, no one knows the password to access it. Can anyone advise me on how to delete the old network without knowing the password so that I can create a new one that I can then use?

It is the same process as setting it the first time around. No lock or anything prevents you from seeing or changing the password. It will gray out the password (but still viewable) if you currently have the wifi ON and in-use. To change it, turn off the wifi, change the password and then turn it back ON.

I received the same answer from Furuno's tech support (eventually). I will try this next time I am on the boat.
