Connect Raymarine R199 to BBFF3?

Hello All,
I'd like to know if it is possible to connect a Raymarine R199 to my BBFF3 (AKA ETR-30N)? Can get a pretty good deal on the Raymarine transducer and I have a BBF3 with cable ends to splice. The Raymarine R199 write-up shows an 8 pin connector. I haven't seen the transducer to know, understand what is required. Or, is this an Airmar question?

In checking Airmar's website it appears that the Raymarine version of the R-199 has an internal diplexer. If you connect the BBFF3 to a diplexed transducer you will only be able to use one of the two frequencies i.e. 50 or 200Khz in the case of the R-199.
