Configuring DRS4W to GP1971F

I’m able to configure to both of my 1971’s so that the radar can be viewed. Two questions:

Can the radar be transmitted to both 1971’s and two iOS devices? The literature states a limit of two iOS devices but does not mention if that is in addition to other devices such as Furuno chartplotters.

Although I’m able to confirgure my 1971’s to display radar as a dedicated screen, how do I configure so that the radar is an overlay on my chartplotters? This feature is illustrated as a capability but can’t figure out how to do it.

Thanks. Jason

No, the DRS4W radar can only support two wifi devices being connected at once. If you disconnect a device then you can connect with another. You can never have four devices connected at once.

You must have a source of both position and HEADING. It sounds like you don't have a heading source wired into your system.

The PG700 heading would be fine for heading if properly wired in. Can you see heading in a data box? Have you turned on overlay as described in the manual with para 2.11?
