Compatibility DRS25ANXT and the RDP139 MFD?

Are the newest solid-state radars compatible with the old MFDs? ---While maybe penny wise and pound foolish, we are concentrating our resources on the sensors and will probably move towards TZ software with an off the shelf touchscreen. But it would be nice to have a backup MFD in case the computer goes south on us.

No the RDP139 (NN1 from roughly 2001) only supports compatible analog radars. To run NXT/solid-state a TZT1 (~2012) or newer would be needed.

Thanks for the info. There is also another old green CRT unit associated with the old 1933C radar. It is labeled Furuno GaAs FET Front End 8-Tone Daylight Display. If I wanted to hang on to the 1933C for back-up, can the RPD139 run the old radar so I can get rid of the green CRT unit?

There were tons of models that used CRT screens. You must be more specific. What is the RSB and RTR numbers from the gearbox in question?

Unfortunately, the numbers on the gear box are faded. Does the attached help any?

Nope. Need something to work with. If everything is worn off on the outside, maybe give us the MAGnetron Number, The MIC number and one of the circuit board numbers from the insides and we will see if we can't try to figure out what you might have.

I was able to get through the label, and it was raised enough to get something legible. Attached is the new drawing. I looked at the schematics and it looks like the DJ-1 connector is the same between the RDP-118 and RDP-139. So can I go from the RSB-0070 directly into the RDP-139 without an additional power supply? If so, would the RDP-139 now be used to activate the RSB-0070. ---Thanks for help!
