Thanks. I wonder if they will give a discount for the unlock code at the boat shows. Usually it’s $500 at a show.

Authorized Furuno Dealers or resellers might give a discount, but make sure it is for an unlock code not a chip. The charts must be downloaded from the Furuno/Mapmedia website.

I have heard that a third area would be available "soon" but not sure which area it is going to be. MapMedia or CMOR might offer you more insight.

I asked Map Media; they said if there is a newer version, they are not aware of it. They will contact CMOR about this. The current CMOR zone for South FL is Map Media chart area WARBATUS01V1.3

The next scheduled area to release in CMOR format from Map Media will be North East Florida to South Carolina. (Which will be the fifth area and counting)

Any progress on updating the current charts yet? the new versions of the CMOR charts have been out a few months now.

MapMedia doesn't seem to have interest in changing a chart that hasn't been out all that long especially when they are trying to obtain the other areas which hasn't been available at all. The MapMedia CMOR charts doesn't exactly correspond to versions by other companies. I couldn't tell you what version it would compare with. If you own an existing licence to a mapmedia CMOR chart that has some inherent problem, I recommend you contact them directly. I don't think they have any interest in doing minor updates until they have the entire CMOR catalog finished in MM3 format. At least that is the impression they left me with. The fifth area is now available and I think they are working on the 6th. You might know better than I, but last I heard CMOR had 9 in the catalog.

If you are not 6.21+ yet, you will have to do 6.21 first and then you can skip 6.23 and go straight to 6.23. If you click on the link below and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, you can find instructions and software for 6.21 and 6.26 in the software section.
