CMOR Maps

On their Facebook page, CMOR mentioned they now are available for Furuno. But on their website there is no mention. Tried calling last week, no answer and there inbox said it was full. Not very inspiring.

Anyone have a clue if these charts are available to Furuno? I sure hope so. We already missed out on Navionics "Sonar Charts".

Although I love my Furuno system. it's kinda disappointing when I see friends with Simrad's who have access to all these great mapping features.

I was told at the Miami boat show that the CMOR maps are compatible only on the TZ Black Box units not the TZtouch 2.

No announcement has been made yet regarding availability. However TZT2BB and the TZTL12 and 15 operate the same so your information may not be accurate.
Please stand by for an announcement from FUSA.

It may not be accurate. However, it was provided by the Furuno reps at Miami who had the CMOR map on display on the BB unit.

Can you elaborate on how the CMOR was on the BB unit on display at Miami? Demo?

Is there any plan to offer CMOR on the TZ touch 2 in 2019?

The CMOR charts were being shown through a pass through video port with TZ Pro from Nobeltec.
They were not loaded in the TZT2BB. We hope to have them available on TZT2 in the coming months if not sooner.

6.23 is for CMOR charts. If you do not want them then leave your TZT2 at 6.21.
For future reference, we always post a software history and explanation of features with new software when it appears on our website.

Thank you. While the history and features are posted for 6.21 on the Furuno website, there is nothing posted for 6.23 other than the software itself and the installation instructions.

The Furuno news section says that the only charts that are available are South Florida and the Gulf of Mexico.
Do i need to wait until the area i need is available before updating to 6.23 software?
When will the Northeast Florida chart be available??

You can update now if it is convenient. We are waiting for more CMOR charts to be converted to Time Zero via MapMedia and will post them as soon as available.

All USA Furuno dealers can take your order. Codes are normally provided within 24 business hours.

If i update now and the chart i need is not available how do i get the chart on the machine??

If you update to 6.23 now you will not see any changes. Once the CMOR chart for the region you are looking for is released you will download it and place it on your chart card.
Once it is unlocked you will notice that when you swipe up on the plotter screen you can turn the CMOR on or off regardless of the underlying chart you are using.

i updated my unit last night and didnt see any charts added either, will it show up after i put in an unlock code? the CMOR chart for my area is already out. i want to fish with it this weekend!!
