Where can we get some information and previews as to the kind of contours available on the C-MAP HRCO relief shading?

When do we get the official release info?

I had to check on that because I have never heard of it. It isn't C-map. In the USA, we offer CMOR charts for “High Resolution Depth Shading”. In Australia, where CMOR is not available, MapMedia is working on other specific charts for that market only. You won't be seeing that with v2 software here in the USA. V2 software does bring us lots of new goodies. It should show up on our website next week, by midweek.
