Close in rabbit ears on DRS12ANXT/4

Decided to start a new thread on this.

Previous post hinted there may be moisture inside the array due to it not being sealed but I opened everything up and it was dry and reinstalled with sealant.
Still getting the close in “rabbit ears” I played with all the settings etc. and cannot get them to go away.

Radar does a great job picking up targets at a distance but as I get closer they get lost in that clutter. It will be hard to navigate with this close in noise in fog/dark.

If you are not finding metal inside the radar beam that it could be reflecting off of; I would recommend that you send the RTR in for testing to ensure it isn't the radar. From experience this is normally RF reflections from metal objects that is inside the radar beam. You can always play with sector blanking to see if blanking a particular area makes the reflections go away. If you haven't tried the Coastal or Channel auto modes, you might want to try them to see if they help any.
