Chart display issue question can see maps in catalog but no map displays at all

Hi Team im having some issues with my TZT2 I live in New Zealand i have downloaded the free available maps for NZ from the Furuno maps site , i have also got a cmap from the local Furuno agents here for NZ , i formatted a 64GB SD card in the required Fat32 format unzipped the files and placed them on the card , All the files i can see under the chart catalog with a tick , the c-map one had a padlock but have since unlocked it so now has a unlocked lock but when i go and select the chart page no map is shown , if i tap the screen and click on chart at the bottom it just says chart unknown and cant select anything , Any idea where i should start to trouble shoot this ? or is there a setting i should turn on or off that's could be conflicting with the maps
MFD is running the latest version 8 software

Did you use the Chart card that was already in the back of the unit? That card is where new charts need to be placed. Once the chart is downloaded to a PC you would unzip the folder and drag the individual chart files to the root of the chart card from the back of the unit.

Yip i did and its unlocked etc .i got it to display . But now ive run into a new issue that the detail is next to unusable . I had a simrad and also a old lowrance that came out same time as the tzt2 and the area i fish . Had high detailed contour lines . But the furuno has next to nothing and half the area is ( unservayed) yet c-map on my simrad had that whole area so im in alittle confused .. ill wait for furuno NZ to come back to me and see how i get on
 
Please contact ENL in New Zealand as the are the local Furuno distributor. They know that area and what options are. You are outside the Furuno USA sales and support area and we are not familiar with your local options for that area.
