Just after some information.
On my previous boat I had all Simrad NSS Evo 3 equipment with Navionics charts.
On my current boat I have Furuno TZ 2 touch systems with CMAP and within the system the option to use Navionics. Furuno is new to me so I apologies up front if I speak out of terms.
The charts used/available by my Furuno system lack in contour detail when compared to the Simrad Navionics card data. It doesn't mater if it is in "fishing mode" or I have selected "Navionics" in the Furuno system options, the detail displayed is a lot less than in the what is presented on the Simrad system.
Why is this so? Can someone please explain this to me as all the Navionics data is supposed to be verified.
