Bypass switch for FAP7002

GWB

I have an application where a pilot bypass switch is needed as a backup, if the pilot ever fails.
If a switch is wired directly to the solenoids; will this cause a problem with the pilot internal circuitry? Understood that if the pilot is in auto it obviously won’t work.

You don't want a switch there because you will end up shorting out your pump/solenoid output. If your pilot isn't using the FPS8 (which many don't) then your General in/out ports are available for use. You could wire-up a disengage switch to the General in and then setup the settings to drop the pilot to standby in the settings when the General in is closed. This would work whither you are in AUTO or NAV.
