I am trying to figure the best transducer for my DFF1 and when I upgrade the TZT2 built in fish finder. I fish for blue fin tuna in 1500-200’ but looking in the upper water columns of 3-400’. Also do yellow tail hunting in <200’ and then coastal halibut/rock fish type stuff again <200’.
I am currently using the B260 but the performance seems less than stellar. This could be the transducer wearing out, have that being checked as we speak. If I have to change the transducer I want the best and $$$ doesn’t matter.
So what is the recommendation for the best transducer for my application? Still the B260?
