Hi guys, looking for some internet wisdom. We installed a completely new TZT3 network, (2) TZT16F, (1) TZT12F, DRS25ANXT, NAVPILOT 300, SCX20, HUB102, NMEA2000 NETWORK, and here is where the issue lies, a DI-FFAMP with a B275LHW transducer.
After research we understood that the B275LHW could be connected directly to the TZT16F but that if it ran through a DI-FFAMP you got a better quality image and readings so we decided to go that route. The B275LHW brought a connector for direct plug, we spliced it and connected it to the DI-FFAMP following the wire color code specified in the TZ3-12P-PGT, LF - HF - xID - TEMP, powered the DI-FFAMP, connected it to the back of the TZT16F to the plug labeled DI-FFAMP, powered the HUB102 and the nmea2000 network and went for a sea trial.
We have no bottom reading, when we go into source for the transducer we only have 2 options, both say TZT16F, we chose either and its the same no reading, and we can't find any network communications or see a DI-FFAMP connected to the system anywhere.
What is your opinion on this? Should the B275LHW connected thru the DI-FFAMP work normal? Is it a configuration deal? Or is there a redundancy issue? I dont think so because Im sure i can install a B275LHW directly to the TZT16F and then side scan transducers to the DI-FFAMP and the whole system should be able to see all transducers right?
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, we are in a remote area in Panama, Central America, tech support locally has been unreacheable and we have a 10 day marlin fishing trip starting tomorrow... Please Help us catch this fish!!! Thank you all.
