AXIS/TZT2 requirements

I want to install a single Axis camera that can be viewed on either of two TZT2 displays.

Do I need the Axis server?
Will I be able to control pan and zoom directly from the MFDs?
What sort of cabling is required?
And...I found the list of compatible Axis cameras which included the M5525-E--that's no longer available but has been replaced by the M5526-E. I'm guessing that one should work too, right?

Thanks.

If you configure the camera it should work. In such a case you would not need a video server. When you say two TZT2 displays, if you mean two different processor units like a TZTL12F and TZTL15F; then yes you can see it on both at the same time if you wish.

Johnny--I took a look at the M5525-E manual and it looks like it uses a PoE ethernet connection and it doesn't seem that it needs a separate power supply--so a pretty simple one-cable installation if I'm understanding it correctly. Am I? And does the TZT2 provide PoE? Or do I need a PoE injector?

Furuno units don't provide PoE. Most Axis products can be powered direct or by PoE. Please talk to Axis support about how to properly power their models. If using just one camera most would just power it direct. If running several cameras, most would use a nice Netgear PoE hub. PoE hubs have a non-powered side to connect up the products like the MFD and a power side to connect up products like the Axis camera.
