Maybe I missed in search ; does furuno have a AP remote that will work with 711C processor?

If you are asking for a wireless remote; NO.
If you are asking for a wired remote; they used to have one call the FAP7021 but has been discontinued. Wired follow-up and non-follow up jog levels are available. If looking for the bluetooth remote like the NP300 has; it isn't an option for the 700 series.

Johnny, or anyone else from FTS, are there are any plans to have a wireless Bluetooth remote for the 711 AP in the future? I realize there is an App than can be used, but that is not 100 percent reliable and periodically looses connection.

I guess I am confused why the less expensive 300 offers a hand held remote, but not for the 711. I have 2 : 711 APs On our boat and having a remote that works with them would be appreciated.

The 700 was developed before the 300 and does not have the required bluetooth hardware as the NP300 does. Product development is working on some options the can come into play for the NP700 soon, it is but nothing that can be discussed before it happens.

Last year I swapped out my 711 for the 300 just to get the remote, it was a great upgrade. I can steer the boat from anywhere especially sitting back with my feet up in the helm chair.
