Amps or Watts rating for NavPilot 511, FAP-5002?

Can anyone tell me what amps/watts the FAP-5002 processor unit for the NavPilot 511 autopilot draws? Can’t find the rating in the manual or on the internet.

Power draw will depend greatly on whatever pump you have connected. Ultimately due to power on current surge; the 500 pilot was normally breakered for 30 amps.

Thanks. I got a reply from tech support that the processor unit draws 3 A at 12 V, but since the pump/motor is run off the processor, I’ll probably up the fuse to 30-40 A.

I wouldn't go beyond 30 amp for your main breaker regardless of pump.
