AIS FA150, transmit wattage

Does the FA150 reduce the transmit wattage from 12,5W to 1W when navigation display is set to "AT ANCHOR" ? Does that (1W) show on the display in any way ?
Can I change the Transponder mode on the FA150 into receive only ?
