Airmar WX220 stopped working

I have a Airmar WX220 sensor that suddenly stopped working after being installed about 1 year. I can see the device on my N2K network using a sniffer but no data is being sent. The PGN’s are being updated but no wind, gps, etc data is being sent. I removed the cable from my mast to ensure continuity of the wires and the red, black, white and blue wires all showed low resistance. The WX220 connector only had four electrical posts (see attached photo). While researching this issue I came across this forum posting which shows the ground wire should be pin #3. https://furunousaforum.com/threads/swap-airmar-220wx-with-airmar-120wx-no-data-rd-33.8202/post-32610

On my WX220 connector there is no electrical connection for pin #3. I looked in the hole and didn’t see a connector pushed in. The WX220 was dry so I don’t believe it corroded off. I don’t remember when I installed the unit last if there was a connection on Pin #3 but do know the unit worked perfectly for the past year.

Can anyone confirm Pin #3 should have a connector? If so is it possible for the device to work without a ground? I’m really confused how the cable apparently lost the ground pin.

If you can see the device is active on the 2000 network then it is talking and it isn't about a connection. It sounds like the sensor is broken if you see it on the network but no data. In regards to the termination pin, I think you might be confusing older Airmar units. Here is a link to the owners guide. https://www.furunousa.com/-/media/s...wners_guide_and_installation_instructions.pdf
Page #17 has the full pin out and function of the wiring.

Johnny, thanks for confirming the pin out. I missed the “X” next to Pin #3 on the sensor side of the diagram. I see they discontinued the WX220 so had to order a new WX200IPX7. I went back and checked my maintenance logs and see this sensor was installed 2.5 years ago just outside the 2 year warranty. With no moving parts I would expect these wind sensors to last longer than 2.5 years.
