Accufish false fish detectiion

Fcv 588 and P66 transducer. ACCUFISH detects and displays fishes when only drifting algaes are passing by . I assume that drifting algaes can mislead ACCUFISH detection ... Any tips to circumvent that ? Thanks

It can happen,
Anything target that has a density change and passes through both beams can be displayed as a fish target. Years ago we tested with different types of floats. Since they displayed just like fish would they were giving an estimated size by ACCU-FISH.
