Accufish & Bottom Discrimination for B164

Looking to upgrade the fishfinder, one option would be either FCV-587 or FCV-588. My transducer is a B164 (Furuno 526TID-LTD/20), not looking to change this. Are there any plans to incorporate this model in the transducer list?

From what I am told because the B164 doesn't have discreet elements for each specific frequency and the beam angle isn't within limits they look for; so it is highly unlikely the B164 will ever be added to the B.D. compatibility list.
