711c restarting

My Navpilot 711c keeps restarting every time I give it a heading. Any ideas what could be causing this?

If you are saying it is powering off and rebooting, that sounds like an electrical short.

Thanks @Johnny Electron. I’ll check the wiring this weekend and repost if the issue is resolved.

Checked all the wiring. No electrical short. Still rebooting.

If rebooting only when receiving heading it sounds like something related to that particular wiring. If you can't resolve it sounds like it is time for a dealer to look at it or send the unit into service for repair evaluation. Maybe it has a bad power board.
