Please check speed source
or enter manual speed value in parameter setup.

Looked in parameter set up did not see anywhere to put in speed.
Where do I go to fix this?
Shouldn't this be done automatically?

It should be done automatically if you have GPS data (SOG - Speed over Ground) connected and the pilot sources have been properly setup on the installation. Do you have GPS connected. Have you picked your data sources?

It is hooked up to a TZT2. Where do I pick (what is the path) my data sources? I thought I had followed the procedure.

What do you have set under SOG?

Looked though the installation manual could not find where I choose data sources. Are you talking about the PGN numbers in CAN bus or NMEA -183? I see nowhere to select SOG. I turned on some of or what I thought were corresponding numbers for NMEA, but it says" Navpilot speed data is necessary"

Under Sensor selection, I only have one thing on the screen "Sensor sync on" nothing under that.
I found a loose wire in the Can bus harness, so I reinstalled it. Now the 711 unit shows Lat & Long., which it did not before. It did not show the enter speed pop up when i hit auto.
Still don't know why it would not show anything under sensor selection though.

I recommend you turn sensor sync OFF and select your own sensors.
