6.21 wont upload

I downloaded & followed instructions, but have not even got to 1st base. Downloaded to SD card, checked & the files are there for Part 1, install in TZT2 & it goes through the steps as if nothing was inserted.

make sure you have the individal files for part 1 .copy and paste each one to your usb drive.

I did a format of USB drive, extracted part 1 to the USB. Plugged in & turned on TZT2. Started normally not recognizing anything.

I believe part 1 is on SD card part two is USB

Followed instructions. Tried SD card, about 5 times, on & off & every time no results. So, I tried Part 1 on USB, also nothing.

Did you make sure your SD card is 32GB or less. The loader will not recognise SD cards that are larger 32GB.

Thank you for that reminder. I remember that on my last unit. But, I used the 128gb in my unit to upload charts, I figured it would work. I guess that is my next try. The old 32gb used on my last unit, wont fit this one.........uhhhh!

O.K. the 32gb card was the issue. I got part 1 to load. Part 2 is not loading, I formatted & loaded the part 2 files 2x's & the machine boots as normal, not recognizing the USB. The Flash drive card has a light, & it comes on the flash drive, but the TZT2 is not seeing it

It might be time to buy the software update kit from your dealer (p/n TZ2-SOF-6.21) for the TZTL. The kit has the instructions and both Part 1 and Part 2 pre-setup with good working memory.

I have not loaded the new software yet, but I had the same issues loading 5.3
I used a SanDisk, Ultra Plus, 16 GB micro card. The card type made a difference.

Yes, has to be a 32gb card, not sure about brands. Called Furuno because Part 2 was not loading. Kenny told me to use a different Flash drive. So, I bought a new one & boom, it is loaded! Also as per instructions, reset everything. All is Well!
