588 wiring help

Can someone tell me what all the colored wires go to? From what I'm following on the instructions I know the red black and a ground are needed but sort of lost on where the colored wires are supposed to go to or if needed?

Also will the 588 run a 1kw transducer by itself or do I need to buy the matching box mb-1100? I bought the
526TID-LTD/20 - 10 Pin transducer and it plugs into the 588 but the box makes it seem like the matching box is needed for it to run at the 1kw?

You do not need the matching box with the526TID-LTD/20. The 10-pin transducer plus directly into the transducer connection.
The additional wires are for NMEA0183 output or input. If you do not plan to use them just tape them back along the cable as you may want to use them in the future.
