50b transducer with a new fishfinder

What Furuno fishfinders are compatible with my existing Furno 50b-9 transducer, without adding an interface box? I have an old fcv271 I'd like to replace without hauling the boat and installing a new transducer.

I would look at either the FCV-295 or FCV-1150. These are dual frequency machines but they can be set up for single frequency also.

Both are too expensive. Nothing cheaper would work?

Yes there are other options but you will need to use the MB-1100 matching box. If you use the matching box you could use the GP-1870F or the FCV-587. These are both dual frequency units but since you only have a 50Khz transducer you will only have the low frequency available.
