1971F Touch Screen

Hello Furuno Users,

I have been using 1971F . Touch screen responds late or does not respond. I have been using it for 2 months. For example I press an option but the device responds as I choose something different. My sliding menu windows do not responds. I cleaned the screen very well.
I can not upload a video.
What should I do?

Please make sure the bare shield ground wire (wire that has no insulation) is grounded, see the attached.

Hi,
I am wondering a detail about this. What does ship's ground mean? I have a fiber boat. Where should I connect that wire? Is it ok to connect it to negative pole of the battery together with the black wire?

If there is no ground plate then YES, connect to the battery - buss with the black ground wire.
