The b270 isn’t chirp. It’s a wide angle 50/200 that was discontinued several years ago.

Thank you for the information.
We believe the B270W transducer which we confirmed is a 50kHz/200kHz dual frequency transducer that uses a wide beam for the 200khz should work with the GP1971F.
You will not have access to bottom discrimination, AccuFish features.
The transducer will likely need to be setup manually as well.
As you mentioned that transducer was not sold very long. How has the performance been on your system?
What kind of fish are you targeting? We would love to see some photos if you have any?

The system is my backup. It seems to work just fine. I also have a 588 connected to a B260 for my main system. We target rockfish, lingcod, salmon and albacore.
