I have a 1815 radar and it is getting AIS, position, heading just fine. I also have a FA-70. The radio that receives AIS for the radar is different then the radio broadcasting my AIS. As such my radar sees my own AIS and constantly throws a collision alarm. Is there any way to enter my AIS into the radar and ignore it?
Never mind, After I typed this I realized the FA-70 has a 0183 AIS output and I used that as the AIS source on the radar instead. Every year my hindsight gets better and better....
