1623 radar day/night issue

I started my 1623 radar this weekend and it started in night mode which I have not used in months. I can't move it back to day mode! I can go through the system menu and choose "hue". The day/night option shows up but wont allow me to change the selection. I must be doing something wrong but can't figure it out. Suggestions??

Have you checked the brilliance? Hit the power button to bring up the brilliance / contrast screen and make adjustments there

Yes brilliance is fine, I just cant select the day/night feature
