Is it possible to replace the display im my 1622 radar unit screen has the center burnt out

The 1622 radar display unit can be repaired but we no longer offer the entire display unit.
Your unit would have to be evaluated to check exactly what must be replaced to make it serviceable. If the entire LCD must be replaced the part cost would be $274 to $299 depending on what LCD was used inside your unit. The entire cost (parts & labor) can't be determined until the unit is evaluated. You would send the unit to the Furuno Repair Facility with a detailed description of the problem. No RMA number or initial payment is required. Please make sure to include your contact information. The address is listed below for your convenience.

The Service Center will contact you concerning cost and billing after the unit has been evaluated. The Service Center has a $100 evaluation fee for out of warrantee items, but they will apply that towards the repair cost, if you choose to have it repaired. Repair time can vary depending on work load and season. Mostly 7-10 business days plus postal time.
