1 kw sitex transducer

Can I run a 1 kw sitex single element DF transducer on an 1870 by installing a 10 pin plug on the transducer cable or is the transducer not compatible with the 1870. Thanks

I have no firsthand knowledge of using the Sitex transducer with the GP-1870F. If the transducer is already in the vessel I would try it just to see how well it works. Just know that the transducer won't be the sounders database for either the ACCU-FISH or Bottom Discrimination mode.
