rdp 149 signal loss

I have an RDP 149 currently installing . the unit does not want to load the satellites. I have an RDP 148 on board working at this time so was using its antenna to check out unit. Did the GPS sensor test and checks out o.k.. Is the unit in trouble or is their something I'm missing? Thanks

It must be connected to data port one. Your position source must be setup as the Furuno BBWGPS. With the Vx2 you can check the port to ensure that data is coming in (MENU - SYSTEM CONFIG - SYSTEM SETUP - PORT SETUP - DATA 1 GPS NMEA PORT - Port Monitor button on side of screen) Do you get data?

yes got it. turns out I had to restart with the wizard .
