Compatibility concerns

I recently purchased my boat with this radar. It was not installed fully. The radar dome was on the boat but the cable was not connected to the receiver. I was told it was working but to be honest I do not think this was true. I have wired the cable and connected the two units. I have the 7" RDP-148 and the RSB -071-058 i think. I know the RTR # is 058. The issue is that my radar will not turn and the receiver says heading data missing? This is my first radar so I do not know where to start. Are the 2 units compatible. Is that the issue? Or maybe the radar itself is bad and will not power and run. The unit also says the chart card is wrong? Thanks for any direction you can give. I think I have the correct manual ? Would this be correct? I think I am going to start as if I am installing the unit and check each thing off as I go to ensure all is installed as it should be to eliminate any obvious areas that would cause an issue and go from there.

The combination you have is called a 1734C (Navionics) or 1734C/NT (CMap).
When you start the unit up, record the version number and we can tell you which chart system you are running.
If the radar is not rotating it could be the motor, modulator, or wiring. Going over the the installation steps is a great idea.
