TZ2 Brightness on startup

We often fish at night. The next day when I go down to the boat to turn on my TZ2 I cant see anything on the screen because the previous night I had the screen set to low light. Any solutions? I always forget to turn up the brightness the night before.

If you cannot remember to turn the brightness back up before leaving and you don't have a towel or anything to hang over your head and the unit to see it, you can keep tapping the power button and the brightness will come back up one notch at a time.
