Split range

Looked in manual. Can you explain what split range is?

Normally when running dual freq on most machines the bottom depth range is tied to the same depth. For example 50 (LF) and 200 (HF) and change range the depth to 100ft, both ranges have 100ft at the bottom of the screen. Split range means it is possible to have each freq at a different range scale. For example you could take the LF to 75ft and the HF to 50ft range scales on the same split screen. Hence you have Split ranges. (independant range control of each freq when running dual freq screen)
