MFD TZT3 16 updates

I have 2 tzt316 with version 2.05 on them
I am trying do the update using a thumb drive to the usb port in the rear

According to Furuno site u plug in the thumb drive then turn on MFD AND IT SHOULD BE AUTOMATICALLY DONE.

It does nothing no beeps, and no updates.

Any suggestions.

Well I guess I will answer my own question.

We figured it out.

It was how we downloaded the file.

I had out it in one file and we figured out you have to down load the files separate on the thumb drive.

And then when we put it on the USB1 on each MFD it did the downloading as stated.

Yea have to download and unzip on a fat32 old style usb...once you get 3.5 you can use WiFi to download future updates
