Im trying to eliminate a noise issue so i thought ill start with grounding the 295 chassis, as per install manual.
boat does not have a thru hull ground plate, its a fiberglass trailer boat with outboard.
I thought ide try to use the SS housing of the SS175 transducer as a grounding plate, assuming that the housing is not bonded to the screen of the TDX cable. ill confirm this with a DMM before i try it.
Any thoughts or advice guys?
