GP 1971 X2

If I connect 2 x GP 1971 units together using either nmea2000 network or direct nmea0183,will they be capable of sharing waypoints and routes ?
I know they won't share charts but if I mark one waypoint will it mark on other other unit as well ?

You can connect up to 4 units to NMEA2000 but the units are not networkable and will not share settings, routes or waypoints.
