Hello,
i have bought a new Furno GP39, it replplaces the old Furno GP31.
The old Furuno devices has been connected to a GPS repeater (NASA Clipper GPS), to display the Position and Speed in the cockpit (Furuno device und the deck)
Now, after installing the new Furuno GP39, the repeater does not display position or speed, the repeater displyes "No GPS Signal"
The repeater has the NMEA 0183 Version 2.0 or 3.0
So i have made the changes in the I/O-Setting.
But nothing happens, still "no signal" at the repeater.
I guess the cable-connections are alright, there are only three wires to connect:
Red (+12v) / -12V (Ground) / Yellow(NMEA-Signal)
Is it possible, that the Furuno GP39 do not give the right Signal to the repeater?
Or do i have to connect another wire for the NEMEA-Signal ?
Is it possible that the Cables do have new functions at the single wires ?
Best regards
Heiko
