Furuno 1715 array not turning

I have a Furuno 1715 with the RSB 0095 that came on my 2005 boat. ser. no 4316-2263. I assume its 10 years old. It looks to be in great physical condition (the boat only had 180 hrs on it) but the array doesnt turn. It does turn by hand, the belt is good and I checked the cable for continuity and all conductors rang out good. The display functions as it should but I get the "no heading pulse no bearing pulse message". Looking for advice. Thanks.

It isn't good to let radars sit unused. It sounds like a problem with the motor, the INT board in the scanner, or the display unit. It would need to be troubleshot by a qualified tech or our factory service center. You have wisely checked the scanner cable and belt so the next most likely item would be the motor but I wouldn't just buy one without having it checked.
