DRS4W ping band

What is the height above the horizon of the DRS4W ping band? This may be measured as an angle above horizontal from the radome, and I’m wondering if the radar “sees” objects in the sky, ie storms.

Radar domes have roughly a 22 degree vertical beam (~11 up and ~11 down). Yes, X-band radar can see storms.
