DRS 2D (4D?) Radar not detected

I've had the NN3D MFD8 for 9 years and this year after connecting radar the plotter claimed that the radar could not be detected. The radar option has disappeared from the menu and in the installation wizard the radar tab disappears within seconds of booting up (although port 1 is still assigned to Radar).

When I tested the power cable coming from MFD8 display to radar it gave me what appears to be an invalid reading ("1 . ") - I was expecting 12v. What should the reading be? Could this be related to the ethernet connector or should I be seeing 12v on the power cable?

You need to setup your meter for a higher power level. The radar power is 48Vdc.

Awesome! Power problem eliminated, I just cleaned up the Ethernet connecter and voila! Radar works! Thanks so much for the tip!
